CrossFit Beek THBX has been fully designed and fitted by Lifemaxx, from the very first sketch to the final installation. Owners Tim Meertens and Kiki Gisbertz envisioned a space where health, vitality and community come together and Lifemaxx helped bring that vision to life, step by step. With two complete Crossmaxx® XL Rig setups, organised storage racks and a wide range of weights and functional training equipment, the box has been created to be functional, professional and future-proof.
A dream built around guiding people towards greater vitality
Tim and Kiki explain: “Our dream is to guide people towards more vitality and health through CrossFit. We want to encourage them to work on themselves proactively, so that certain health issues may be prevented and complaints postponed. By investing in their health, people invest in a stronger, more energetic and more resilient future.”
The idea to create a place where this could happen was born a year ago. Fast-forward to today, and that vision has become a fully equipped, professional box that reflects exactly what they hoped for: a warm, involved community and a space where everyone can work on their health.
Why Lifemaxx?
During the preparation phase, Tim and Kiki explored several suppliers. They share: “In preparing to start our own box, we looked for different partners we wanted to work with. One of the things we needed was a supplier of fitness equipment.”
After speaking with multiple companies, they eventually chose Lifemaxx, largely because of the personal approach:“Lifemaxx stood out immediately due to their personal way of working. They were happy to travel from Rotterdam to meet us, listen to our vision and create a 3D sketch of our potential location. This first meeting and their involved approach resonated with us. It aligns perfectly with how we want to operate within our own company: open, engaged with our clients, thoughtful, and committed to high standards in everything we do.”
Gym design: from 3D concept to reality
The process was hands-on and collaborative: “Initially, someone from Lifemaxx visited our location. We walked through the space together and discussed various ideas. We then received a proposal in the form of a 3D drawing, in which our location was perfectly visualised with all the equipment and elements we had gone through.”
This was followed by further coordination and a visit to the Lifemaxx headquarters in Rotterdam:
“During this visit we reviewed the 3D sketches again, after which we finalised the order.”
Seeing their future box come to life was a special experience: “It was incredible to see our location come to life in the 3D sketches, and then to watch those sketches gradually turn into reality as the equipment was installed.”
Service and quality first
Tim and Kiki are clear about their experience: “We are very satisfied with our choice and with the materials. Whenever something wasn’t quite right or an issue arose, Lifemaxx actively helped us find the best possible solution. We were supported extremely well.”
