In this blog post, we'd like to share the process of setting up Van Laars Sports with you, where we were given the challenging task of maximizing a tight space of only 35m2. We see every challenge as an opportunity to provide creative and innovative solutions. For Van Laars Sports, the key to success was finding the perfect balance between functionality, efficiency, and maximizing the space for movement.
Van Laar Sports, located in Rijswijk and run by Casper van Laar, follows the motto "Get fit, be fit, stay fit." In his private gym, both companies and individuals can receive solo or duo personal training. It's also his plan to offer outdoor boot camp training. Our experienced team worked closely with Casper to understand his needs and wishes as best as possible. We conducted a thorough analysis of the available space and Casper's objectives to create a smart and effective design.
3D gym design
With this information in mind, we created a 3D gym design. We carefully selected multifunctional fitness materials and storage options to maximize the available space. For example, we chose a rig/storage combination with extras such as Crossmaxx Jammer Arms and the Belt Squat attachment. These allow for the same training as much larger machines. The Runner and the Air Bike offer challenging cardio options, and the Pulley System is a versatile addition. When asked about our collaboration, Casper replied, "Very good! Nothing but positive," and that's exactly what we always aim for.
